Morrifield first designed Tunnelhouses in invercargill new Zealand in 1980. They are designed and time tested and proven to withstand all nature can throw at it. Southland gets its share of snow, hail and strong winds.
There are now thousands of Morrifield Tunnelhouses from the top of New Zealand right down to Stewart Island.
Morrifield have:
- Manufactured Tunnelhouses as small as 6²m to as big as 700²m
- Supplied Tunnelhouses to prisons, vineyards, swimming pools, schools, the IHC, the YMCA and lots of other applications
- Exported to Russia, Australia, Great Barrier Island, Chatham Islands and Stewart Island
The design has remained largely the same since 1980 and outlasted many competitors, some insurance companies specify Morrifield Tunnelhouses as replacements for other brands damaged by storm.
